Brandywine Academic Services has developed a Signature Learning Program that is designed to equip your child with the skills necessary to achieve academic success. Individuals enroll in this learning program on a monthly basis and are assigned both an academic counselor and a tutor. Your academic counselor will communicate with the classroom teacher(s) to stay abreast of the current curriculum, evaluate your needs and classroom progress, and assign you to an appropriate tutor. Tutors assess your child's learning style on a weekly basis so that difficult concepts and challenging material are presented most effectively. In addition, a hands on study skills session is provided monthly to develop skills that maximize success in all subject areas. At the end of each month you will receive a progress report that summarizes the weekly sessions and highlights areas where progress has been made and/or improvement is needed.

Brandywine Academic Services also provides traditional private tutoring in the comfort of your home and charged at an hourly rate. Tutees are assigned a tutor that works to meet the needs specified by the tutee. Tutees are encouraged to present specific questions, while tutors also strive to determine the tutee's strengths and weaknesses.

Small group tutoring is also available. Groups are composed of 2-5 individuals and charged an hourly rate. Self-formed groups are encouraged, in an effort to form groups of students from the same school, who need assistance with the same material. Host a group session in your home and receive a discount. Individuals are required to bring their textbook to the sessions. Tutors ask each student in the group for specific questions. If all questions are addressed, the tutor briefly reviews key points from the current curriculum. Effort is made to equally address each student in the group.

Limited to 15 students, our 15 hour classroom sessions provide personal instruction. In addition to reviewing important material, engaging instructors also present essential test-taking strategies. Classroom sessions take place in local libraries and community centers.
